I'M KAYLA
Previously a UX Specialist at Change Healthcare,
formerly a student of the Stanford d.School,
known for speaking up.

I'm a Bay Area transplant from Park City, Utah who now calls San Francisco home. I've [almost] learned to love the ocean as much as the mountains and when I'm not exploring you can find me trying to pick up a new hobby. I love anything that allows for creativity. I've tried activities from glassworking to baking to painting to woodworking.
A LITTLE MORE...
My work at Change Healthcare was focused on digital strategy and innovation. I had many unique opportunities to interview patients & physicians, analyze findings, interface with stakeholders, ideate, prototype solutions, and much more. Healthcare is a challenging, yet rewarding industry and I have no doubt that my learnings will impact my future work.
WHAT I DO...
Human-centered design will drive the future of products, technology, and innovation. Using empathy as a guide, I seek experiences where I can bring my expertise in Design Thinking and research insights into meaningful work.
I am committed to social and environmental justice as well as furthering the design community’s awareness of intersectionality in design.
Above all, I'm a storyteller who knows the value of engaging people by listening to their stories and sharing human experiences.
